We provide hardware and software surveillance solutions to the UK Police. The core of our business is helping the Police make more effective use of CCTV.

CCTV is an important tool in the prevention and investigation of crime and the Police are being expected to make use of an ever increasing amount of video evidence. The Police receive CCTV images from a wide diversity of sources including local councils, public transport, and all sizes of commercial premises.

Contrary to public perception, access to CCTV is not easy – it is difficult to play back CCTV video and time consuming to watch. Sira Defence and Security Limited provides systems that simplify Police access to CCTV and supports investigations.
